About Me
I started out as a scientist, always curious about how things work and why, sometimes, they don’t work. After 10 years as a senior manager in FMCG and media, I became a coach. For 16 years I specialised in organisational and leadership development. This led to the realisation that being a good leader is hard and that many leaders are not happy, often finding it difficult to achieve a sense of balance and fulfilment.
After completing an MSc in Positive Health Coaching, where I studied the principles of positive psychology and wellbeing, I set up Purple Dragon. My mission is to help leaders move from just surviving to positively thriving. To lead others effectively I believe that you first need to develop self-mastery. This ability rests on the pillars of what I term whole-being. A leader demonstrating self-mastery: is confident in their own unique strengths; prioritises their own physical and mental well-being; has a clear sense of purpose and direction, and has authentic relationships and interactions both at work and within their wider community.
Working with Purple Dragon we will first develop your self-mastery blue print, establishing what really matters to you. This will ensure that you can ‘lead-self’ before we focus upon how you lead others.
